Bianchi Limited...1981 (I think).
So i was building a Sekine and working with a new friend that has tons of used parts...when I mentioned to him that I would like to find a better frame in my size to build. Me says that he has a big Bianchi that doesn't have a fork...but mine might work.
Long story short...he gets the frame down from his attic...gives me a set of Shimano DT shifters, a Bottom Bracket, a Shimano 600 RD, and a black Kalloy seat stem...all for $40.
I take it home, and proceed to tear down the Sekine, and swap the wheels (gold Araya Red labels) handlebar, brakes (well actually the brakes are from my Schwinn Cutter..and the Cutter got the ones off the Sekine) brake levers, cranks, pedals, and chain. It is a nice ride...and I like the way it turned out.
Here is a pic a took today...

Yes, it's a 1981 model, contract manufactured in Japan.

The build turned out nice! Can't get much better for $40. How does it ride?

May I ask if the tubeset is identified? Ishiwata 019/022 ?
I like my Limited too - very solid ride in the larger size (62cm seat tube/58.5 top tube), IMHO.
An old picture, it's been upgraded from last season's winter beater, no rack or fenders now, + Mavic tubular wheelset.

I do not know how to find this out. There is a sticker on the seat tube, which I assume identifies the material...but it is completely faded away. Is there anyways to tell?

I think the Limited was built with Ishiwata tubing for all of its years, but I could be wrong.
In '84 it was mixed gauge Ishiwata tubing they called Superset. The fork has an 022 sticker.

Looking AT&T with the sunlight all I could make out of the sticker was "Bianchi" across the top...and maybe "CrMo" going diagonally up from bottom left corner to top right.

I would have to double check, but I believe your are mostly correct. I believe in '87 it was built with the Bianchi Formula frame but then in '88 reverted back to a Ishwata built for Bianchi tubeset.
Nice looking Limited
