I had one exactly like it with Suntour instead of Campy and Super Champion rims. Mine did not have the white high lights on the lugs. It was my first race bike way back in 1983. We called it the Connie Carpenter Special.

My mid-60's Jan DeReus. Still gathering parts for a largely period correct build.

'85/'86 Pinarello Crono, the only vintage bike I've kept. As to the lettering, it's black with a champagne-colored outline. The Casiraghi cables match that color.

Don't have a lot of green around these days. This is an '84 Echelon sports tourer, built by Cherubim/Japan. Echelon was an OE brand created by a Californian company called DIN Industries, don't think the brand existed for more than a few years. Very clean lines, I really like the seatstay plugs.

I might need special dispensation for this 2005 Waterford RS-33. It is steel, but welded with thin/fattish tubes. Bought it with the crabon fork, had Waterford build me a steel one. That's all the green I got.

I have had the frame for a few years now, and I was going to paint it myself in my spray booth (we spray cabinets and such sometimes). After years of monkeying around with work and everything in life, finally I am ready to paint my Reynolds tube frame by someone else. I only want to have my company name on the down tube. I am thinking of a green color with a white band and rainbow stripes (air brush by a local Harley guy) . Typical 80s to early 90s stuff because that's when my long unsuccessful racing career started and lasted for 16 years. The color of the lettering is what troubling me. The green is somewhat set in stone, but everything else is up in the air. Looking for samples and suggestions. I am open to anything.
