Strange bedfellows?
My wife thinks I've got a problem ( or 4 to be precise). For me it's entirely logical . Where else would you want to take care of your most prized possessions when not in use? Strange bedfellows indeed.

Yes, I see exactly what you're talking about. That LeMond with the slanted top tube is sort of problematic, isn't it?
Oh, wait... You were talking about where you had them stored, weren't you?

I fail to see the problem.

Very nice cache of bikes ! I don't blame you for keeping them close by , none of mine are nice enough to get any bedroom space.

Ah , I see it's my lack of a neat storage solution. Goodbye to the walk-in wardrobe, hello vertical bike storage facility!

Did you ever watch a show called "it takes a thief" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_Take...005_TV_series) One of the first places they ramsacked was the master bedroom around the bed. So you are not alone on where you store your prized possessions. But the thieves will look there first, so I hide mine in the attic & basement ... or that is what I am going to say if the wife spots the latest "find" in the basement "hiding it from the thieves"

Can't say I did, but anywhere damp / accessible by mice , rats or any other vermin that I share this planet with is completely out of the question (they like to chew bar tape as a minimum as I found out to my cost) And outbuildings are the burglars low risk favourite. No the bedroom is best: warm, dry and comes complete with surveillance system.

That's nice but you should spread them out, so that you can enjoy them more. Have one in each of 4 different rooms. And if you have more than one in a room, then spread them out like Bianchigirll has so you can see them better.
