Stitched Leather on Anatomic bars?
Has anybody seen this done before? I am a headset/paint job away from completeing a new build out of parts on hand.
I have some Deda Piega Anatomic bars:

And I also have some VO Elkhide bartape lying unused. Do you guys and gals think that this will look appealing?
Cream colored stitching and black non-aero cable routing. I would also trade for a set of Giro D'Italia or something similar if anyone is interested.
If there is enough interest I can be a guinea pig and try it out for the group.

Hm, not sure if I like elkhide in general, it's rather fat. I also think it will be a bear to install since the extra kink adds more circumference to the tube in that area. If you're going to run non-aero, you might want to fill in the cable runs to prevent the leather from moving around too much.
