Looks like a "standard" steel head tube to top tube lug, maybe for a 73 degree frame.

There seem to be a lot that look like that. Even my 2002 Mercian has similar window lugs.

Yes and yes...there were at least 3 that "matched that description": Bocama, Prugnat and Haden and I think you have to have them side-by-side to tell the subtle differences.

And you could probably expand that into several Japanese manufacturers. Knowing the brand of frame and vintage may help to narrow it down. More importantly, are there any stampings on the lugs themselves, other than the angle?

Agreed, not a Cinelli and not a touring model. Probably circa 1974-1977 based on what appears to Campagnolo long dropouts in conjunction with a Cinelli BB shell having bottom cable guides.

Based on the Cinelli decal, I wouldn't assume the Columbus decal is correct. Check for Columbus' five helical ridges on the inside of the bottom of the fork's steerer tube, to be sure.

Thanks for the info...would this picture help....do you know the timeline for these dropouts....are they factory or has something been added.....the decals where put on later...what makes it not a Cenelli and is there somewhere for me to research frames and who manufactures them.
