Is this repairable?! UPDATE
I have had this Selle San Marco Regal seat for a little over a year and recently one of the rivets broke off while i was riding. I have looked endlessly on the internet for a replacement one but have had no luck. I emailed Selle directly and still have not heard back.. I was thinking about checking out a local shoe / leather repair shop and asking them.. Any tips would be very appreciated as i want to get this back on the Trek.. I also don't mind replacing them all (if i can't find an original rivet) as long as they fit and look good with the original saddle.

Just in case others want to know. I went to very reputable local shoe and leather worker to show him the saddle and the broken rivets. He took a look and said it would be a very easy fix but that the rivets look custom made and that he had nothing that large.. So he gave me his card and wrote down an address to the biggest leather and button supplier in Seattle.. I made my way there and showed the owner my saddle.. The place was huge and stocked with everything you could think of.. He however said that those were definitely custom rivets and that in his career he had not seen anything like that come through his warehouse.
So unfortunately im stuck with a broken rivet.. An email was sent to Selle inquiring about a replacement rivet... No word back..

I used to own a San Marco, but I don't remember if those rivets are just for the look? If they are cosmetic, you should be able to match a copper rivet-looking something, somewhere. If you took a walk around home depot I'm sure you'd come up with something. Then just use some epoxy to hold it back in place.

You can also consider just replacing them all with slightly bigger rivets if you cannot find the exact size to match the original ones. Bigger usually looks better anyway, especially if you go with copper ones...

Take it to a reputable shoe/boot repair place. This is not a totally unusual repair for them. They probably have rivets to fit in house if they are a good one.

I have seen a Turbo before and after done by this guy www.recoveredsaddles.com and his work is first class, beautiful custom cover, sorry to say my understanding is that he will not do regals because he can not source the correct rivets.

Check a good hardware store or farm implement store. I've found big copper and brass rivets that are used for riveting conveyor belts end-to-end that look just about perfect for bike seats. If you have some dimensions, I can see what our local farm implement has and send you a few.

make your own rivets, I do
but I do as my leather is thicker than the leather Brooks use.
You can buy Brooks rivets, which come in up to 16.5mm diameter for the Team Professional.
Then just stick it in a drill in a clamped in a vice and file it back to get the size you want.

How long a shank do you need? I can check it against one of the Brooks Professional rivets I have.
