It rode VERY nicely, but that B15 narrow is not a great saddle for me past about the 5 mile mark. I had a Royal on it when I swapped the seatpost. I may put it back on there for actual riding, and leave the narrow for a 1970's bike picture saddle.,,,,BD

WHOOAAA, DUED!!! Stunning before and after results in all your photos! They look like 2 different bikes. Nice work.

Can you share how you got that incredible shine back to the paint and chrome?
Do you touch up the chipped paint?

The chrome, very careful # 0000 steel wool and soap. For the paint, I washed the grime off, and polished it with a terry cloth rag and Meguiars cleaner wax. The paint chips were touched up with Testors model paints, custom mixed by hand to the right shade.,,,,BD

Stupid hash tags made me put a space between the # and the 0000? Been typing it connected for years, and now it's a stupid "hash tag"??

Thanks! I've put around 40 miles on it so far, 22 of it this last Sunday. The narrow saddle began to get a little more comfortable. I hadn't put many miles on it since I got it, and I guess it began breaking in to my sitbone placement. The first 15 mile ride, was not too happy after five. It handles nice, rides well, and now stops well. Yep, I replaced the brake shoes. It stopped badly! Like hold both brakes and still moving if you pedal, badly. Threw on some Jagwire rubber blocks, and it solved the issue. I guess 30 something year old Campy blocks just aren't up to the task of stopping my big azz ,,,BD

With the heavy Brooks saddle, brass bell, etc..it's STILL under 25 pounds.
