Forum member iab is quite knowledgeable about Frejus bikes and owns a 1933 Frejus.
He is likely out riding it right now.
Check out his Frejus thread. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...-Frejus-update

Oh yeah, that thing's gorgeous!!! Congrats!
I have a 1971 Frejus Professional, that's my long-term keeper. Not only does it fit me well, but it's that rare combination of Reynolds 531 steel, & Italian craftsmanship. I'm definitely not a Frejus expert, LOL, just one of the lucky owners, so I'll shut up now.

The bike looks like it has seen some care over the decades, at least it got oiled which should have kept things serviceable.
Looking forward to an image of the bike with the wheels in position.
I am not that familiar, but when did Ambrosio introduce alloy bars and stem?

Nice!!!
Mine is serial #11475 . https://www.flickr.com/photos/6812317...7627790534336/
Is this the catalog? https://www.flickr.com/photos/6812317...7631597310286/
If yes, that's mine too.
For a definitive date, there could be a date stamp on the fixed cup and/or BB spindle.
As for the model, I don't know. As you see in the catalog, in 1937 the Model A has a different seat cluster. My bike and your bike matches the Model B. But I don't know what they offered in 33/34. Maybe our bikes were the Model A at that time and when they came out with a new version, they made it the Model B. Or it was always a Model B. I keep my eyes open for catalogs but it took me 5 years to find the one from 37.

It's really light though, compared to a Campag. NR at least.

This is a catalog from 1935 with an aluminum stem, not Ambrosio, but no reason to believe Ambrosio didn't have one at the time. https://plus.google.com/photos/10861...34556256340805
My bike came with a steel stem, I gave it an "upgrade" of an aluminum Ambrosio stem and bars from 1939. A scratch on the aluminum makes it look like 1959, but the date stamp is 1939.

Yes the catalogue is that one; I think that Ambrosio start to produce alloy stems and handlebars in 32-33..I' ve seen an old photo of Martano, dated 1933, with the same stem.
Anyway, also for me our frejus was the top model in 32-33-34..if you look at the photos of Martano and Bartali in 1934, they ride a Frejus like that one...after 1935, I think, the new model came out..
I've found that beauty in a farm, near Torino..the only think that si not original si the rear hub (gnutti) and the wheel..
p.s. If someone have a rear hub old stile marked Frejus contact me..

I have one. It's in very poor condition. I'll send a PM but you may need to do another 23 posts to see it. Find 23 threads and post an atta boy in them.
I'd love to see those pictures of Martano and Bartali. The quality of mine are low and I can't see a seat cluster. https://www.flickr.com/photos/6812317...7627669287011/
