Well, he got one offer. I wonder what it is--nowhere close to $900 I'm sure.
And, what's going on with the seat cluster area, too? Judging by the paint damage and gnarly seat post in the final pic, I have to assume some serious damage to that area as well. And, maybe it's just the reflection, but that drive-side fork blade doesn't look right either.

I love the amount of effort the seller put into trying transform a sow's ear into a silk purse. This is the kind of bike you donate to someone willing to work on it.

That'd be an easy fix, but no way is it worth $900.

Not only is the campy drop out different than original, it is long and the original was a shorter horizontal.. would look aweful. You're right though. it should more or less be given away to someone willing to restore.. DO replacement new chrome and paint will be more expensive than it is worth when it is done.

Yeah, after you part out the worthwhile bits. I love the fact that it includes an incorrect spare drop out.

I seriously doubt all it needs is a new drop out. Check out all the paint damage around the seat cluster (not normal compared to the rest of the frame) and then check out the gouges on the seat post. Also, anyone else see a dent toward the top of the right fork blade?

And yes, the provided spare dropout is not correct, but it could work as a functional, if not cosmetically consistent replacement. I wonder why the seller even bothers? Proper 1010B dropouts and indistinguishable clones are available. If someone pays $900 for that frame, they're unlikely to want to use an incorrect dropout to fix it.

The fork may be Columbus Air tubing. The seller is verbose.
