Bikes: they change so much I'm tired of updating this

goodwill auction miyata

Picked this up today after winning it on the goodwill auction site. Really nice condition, and I've been wanting a triple for awhile. Did a quick cleanup, new cables and wrap. Now I need to get a rack and a brooks saddle.

Nice grannie on that Miyata.

WOW! That's a rare bike. Aluminum tubes, cromoly lugs and fork. Beautiful lugs and seat cluster. Love it.

That's a sweet bike! Lots of cool little details including rear rack mounts. Really good condition too!

Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

That bike is in great shape; nice score. That's a pretty decent saddle. I'd ride it for a while before swapping it out.

Mountain LX? That is a quirky cool model, perfect for fast commuting. I like it a lot.

This bike has a tone of hidden character. The flex seat cluster and full lx componets are kinda cool.

Thanks all, it really is a clean bike. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet though.

Also it has the infamous Egg Biopiece granny gear. Which proves that the drivetrain is all original

Really cool cable routing, that may be a keeper...

Biopace. I had a double & triple crank set with them. I felt they gave me less knee pain. My triple was a 28-38-48 teeth. I remember some more chain "bounce" over a round chain ring crank set. I'd slow down more, when shifting the front derailler.

I took it out this morning for a quick ride before the storms blew in. So far I like it, has a very nice ride, comfortable and pretty quick and nimble for a heavier bike.
