Well you can have a look at the fillet brazed seat cluster and SN on the non-drive side drop outs from my 72 Condor Italia:

Also the RD braze-ons:

Some difference include Zeus drop-outs, non-sloping fork crown and a decal headbadge, no holes.
Here's the whole thing:

My serial number is repeated on the BB and steerer tube. Since Condor is mostly a bespoke marquee, the details from frame to frame will diverge quite a bit, as did their SN standards. If there was any way to confirm it my money is on a Condor Italia, but I'll never collect.

That's really interesting, thanks. What is your serial #? I can't quite make it in that pic.

7245 is correct, I'm pretty sure I have a better pic of the SN on my computer at home, I'll upload it tonight.

Seems like Condor Italia is a pretty strong contender.
Besides the serial number stamps "font" it would help if somebody can measure the headbadge hole spacing on their Condor so nierner can compare.

Yeah, I don't know if this matters. They probably had 3 stamps for each of the 10 numbers that they got from a die company. Both the bikes of dyander and nlerner have a font with serifs like Times. Dyander's has the number on the top of the dropout. Nlerner's has it on the bottom. I would guess that one way is Nigel's way of doing it, but Gerry liked doing it the other way.

That's an excellent idea. The distance between the holes on the head tube of my bike is 2.5cm.

More than 10:years later, I thought I’d update this thread with some updates on the ‘73 Condor Italia. I actually sold this frame on eBay a month or so ago, but the buyer got very huffy (haha!) after discovering a flat spot on the seat tube. So I took it back.

Since initial purchase, I’ve powder coated this bike twice, built it up in a variety of configurations, from 10-speed traditional gearing with 700c wheels to IGH with 650b wheels to current mode with a half-step plus granny triple and 5-speed rear cog set.

After the first powder coat:

Configured for CA Eroica:

IGH build:

Current configuration:

I was going to go all early Dura Ace, but my RD spring was kaput, and the SunTour downtube friction shifters pull more cable than their Shimano DA counterparts. Did stick with the DA brakes, however. Until the next configuration!

Wow, thanks for the update. Lovely to see you're still using and enjoying this bike. Doubly so to see all the configurations.

What pedals are those on there currently…?
Nice dual pedal with a low profile.
