Awesome! I bet you feel much better than when you started and would also guess that makes you want to ride even more.

Congrats on 20 years. Usually folks are out on probation before that length of time has passed

After lingering at 80 miles on the road and 9 miles on the trainer, I finally went over the century mark with an 18 miler today.
So, 107 miles total; hopefully more to come before the month is over............

Went out for another cold morning ride at 5 AM. I just want to know when will Spring get here or are we just going to skip over it to Summer. I did another 13.3 miles and decided that at every little climb I was going to do some standing on the pedals. As short as they were, I am in need of some hill work and every little bit helps. In the beginning, I couldn't stand at all. Now, I can for a little bit. Progress ( and the soreness) do feel good.

Another milestone is I finally saw my first glimpse in years of under 200 lbs. (199 lb after the ride) I know, it was partly weight loss and partly water but it still feels good to know that under 200 for good is on the horizon. It is attainable. This would put me at 15 lbs down and with a normal range of something like 170-188, I have another 12 lbs, give or take, to be what the gov't. says is normal. I am looking forward to hitting 192 as my next goal which was my married weight.

hoping for future success and more pedaled miles.

4/22 - 25.2mi, 840ft. Windy and cold. Wind NW 18mph, gusts to 38mph, 48F.
4/23 - 23.0mi, 2539ft. Hill repeats. Finally made my goal of a sub 5 minute time on the main Strava segment on the climb. Happiest I've ever been to see 4:59 for only 1 mile, lol.

363.7/500 miles, 18789'

3 days until first century ride of the year. Weather looks perfect aside from being a little chilly in the AM. I will probably not be in any hurry to finish, and will make the most of being pampered at rest stops by the awesome volunteers the ride gets. Couldn't enjoy the scenery much last year due to the shivering and soggy chamois.

Should make 500 with 10 or 20 miles to spare. May's goal jumps to 750 miles. Might be a bit ambitious, but my shop rides start up in May, and three of them each week gets me about 100 miles...

Haha! Oh, wait, that was the same complaint I had Monday. Maybe the winds will ease off before they get to you.

Weight loss is not so great only 3 lbs. this month so far, got to work on that too. I am down 30 lbs. since the first of February, I’ve got to get back with it though.

Ride lots and track my calories in. Kept them less than target, in other words just cut back on how much I was eating.

4-23 31.0 miles

You'll crush me this month in mileage. I'll be lucky to hit the @expatbrit 30k foot number.
