First ride of the month. Spring might actually be arriving here in Indiana.
4/6 - 13.5 miles @12.3 avg with a 20 mph headwind on the first half.
What a way to start the challenge!
MTD 13.5/120

4/5 - 11.49 (Just a short ride but it was my fastest avg. to keep things running.)
4/6 - 31.49 Big Hat Century fun ride. A couple friend got on me to do this ride after I picked up my road bike last weekend. Had an absolute blast on my first organized ride. My first 100+ mile week!

15.1 miles today, 25 for the month.
15.1 is the longest I have ever rode, and it felt great. I did get a little sore from the saddle. I think the saddle is fine, but I don't own any padded bike shorts. I'm going to remedy that, and a pair is already been ordered. 15 miles did feel great, and with proper shorts I think I can hit 20 miles next week. The most important thing is I'm back on target for my 100 miles this month.

How does this work? Just post a goal and post daily miles?
Will chef make cookies if we reach goal?

Well I did not get my 15 miles (would have been my longest to date) on Friday as planned. It was just too cold and windy. So, today I started out to ride the 15 I did not on Friday, again the wind was in the mid teens with gusts into the upper twenties. I went out against the wind and when I got to 7.5 miles which was my turn around for 15 miles I felt pretty good so, I pushed to 10.25 and came back against the wind.
4/7 - 20.5 miles
MTD - 30.7 miles
To Go - 69.3 miles

I got 28 very windy miles in today. My Super Sport is pretty heavy and I was getting moved all over the place. Puts me at 53 month to date.

Thanks. 3-5 mornings a week at 15-19 miles and then usually a weekend ride of 25+ miles. Had a couple of 50+'s that help, too. That said, compared to some of the riders here, that's not all that much.

40 miles with 2,200' gain on the bike getting my arse handed to me by CAT4's.
A 2:05 half marathon that had 800' of gain yesterday was NOT(!) a good idea.
April:
Running: 24.8 mi / 1,311' gain
Ridding: 175 / 5,059' gain
YTD:
Running: 208.3 mi / 10,635' gain
Ridding: 1,143 mi / 57,288' gain

4-6 13.2 miles
4-7 32.4 miles on a windy, gusty day after it quit raining. Should have been much longer however feel good that I achieved a KOM 2/10th mile 2.4% grade sprint.
Tomorrow I start back bike commuting so the miles should increase.......

Enjoyed a very nice solo ride today up in foothills from Auburn up past Foresthill, CA. Total of 65 miles and 5,600 ft of climbing for the day.
April mileage = 285
I'm chained to the office all next week and the weather is looking good so looking forward to five great commute days.

4/7 - 4.70. A quick spin this evening to adjust the saddle and check the headwind. Saddle is pretty close and yep, the headwind was working.
mtd - 109.74 (Though Garmin says I have 111)
