Went down into the Auburn Dam site for a couple trips down to the river. Excavation for the dam was stopped many years ago and now it's a State Park. Fifteen miles and 2k of climbing today.

3-2: 9.2mi just as a nasty cold front came thru. Hopefully things clear by Thurs!
---Got buried under a ton of ice that completely jacked my week up!
3-8: 11.8mi
3-13: 11.6
**32.6/150 for the month
Didn't manage to get out yesterday or this morning due to family illness (the wife). I'm only at work a half day today and I have to run this evening... I may very well try to run my first "brick" and bike my 12 mile loop followed immediately by my run.

March 2nd -- 22.4 miles, 1,001'. Snowed, rained, hailed, and windblown. What a wonderful start!!
March 4th -- 20.5 miles, 877'
March 6th -- 18.1 miles, 1,228'. For once, it wasn't brutally windy in the canyon
March 8th -- lots of vertical feet, but skiing is cheating
March 9th -- 42.6 miles, 3,770'. I almost logged it as two rides, just to get out of bumpy territory and into hilly.
March 10th -- 21.5 miles, 928'
March 13th -- 17.7 miles, 1428'. Over the crud, looking for new segments and not finding any!
March 14th -- 3.8 miles, 305' before I had a weather induced fun failure
March 15th -- 15.2 miles, 1,358' in 25mph and gusting to 50 winds. Then it snowed. F the wind to H.
March 16th -- 40.2 miles, 3,283'. The long way to do my 21 mile ride, without doubling it
209/320 miles
14,747/20,000'
12hrs 43m at 16.5mph average speed.

Oh, and 184.5lbs on the scales after the ride, which is the lowest I've seen in over 10 years, I think.

Back to the cross bike, twisting and winding around a few local roads always looking for nice circuits to ride again. Most loops I've found have at least one area that just isn't very nice...

Took the Mtn bike on today's commute. Added 25 miles to the monthly mileage total of 593 miles.
Had a bad-news good-news week. Bad news. Frame on my trusty C'Dale commuter road bike is dead! Mechanic says failure from metal fatigue. Good-news. I'm the original owner and C'Dale is coming through with a new frame under warranty. Shop will have the bike built up and ready to roll next week. Yea!

I have 114 miles MTD. 200 is easily attainable. 250 will be a stretch goal.
