I don't think it's a d1ck move, even if you don't ask. It's a bike rack, it's meant for bikes, it's not being used for bikes, which means whoever paid to install it isn't getting their money's worth.

However, given that yours is the first case I've heard of a commuter being repeatedly targeted for obnoxious deflation, it's not a common thing. So if review of the tapes can identify the culprit and he can be dealt with, I bet you won't have to worry any more.

You could also look around in the back, even if there isn't an actual bike rack, there might be a pipe or some other secure feature that you could lock up to while keeping your bike out of everyone's way. That might be preferable to a rack out front in general.

Depends...when my employer took down the roof covering our bike rack, I started parking across the street at the local university which has converted butt hutt with a bike rack inside. Keeps my bike out of the weather, albeit it's where all the cats like to piss. I am not affiliated with the university in any way, and I am prepared to comply with any campus cops who get butt hurt that I am using their property.

You can try the nursing home, but don't be a weener if you are asked to not use it in the future.

For future reference, this forum will accomplish nothing for you should someone start messing with your bicycle again. Move it or confront the person messing with you. This is why you should never be a dick to your coworkers.

The d1ck move is the a$$wipe who's messing with your ride.

Aren't you dying of curiosity to know who it is? I know I would be...

If I saw that, I would be tempted to do something along the lines of drawing a penis on a conspicuous part like the headlight.

Buy a old van and leave it there in the parking lot, (Cinderblocks instead of wheels Optional), put your Bike in it while at work .. Lock the door.

you can actually buy a bike alarm off of amazon... reviews said it did a pretty good job.

Your initial post indicated intent toward excessive force (if not just Internet bluster). Use of sufficient force to stop/deter will keep you fine, but put a real beat down on the slimeball (as you imply) and you'll spend more on lawyers than the bike.

You could slob super glue all over the tire once you get to work.

Or black ink.

sounds like there is no evidence of anyone tampering with the bike. experience will eventually demonstrate, that flat tires take an indeterminate amount of time to manifest themselves, depending on the severity of the hole or holes in the tube.

UPDATE:

So I talked to security at my work who reviewed footage of the last few days. They told me that they didn't see ANYBODY touch or mess with my bike. I thought this to be strange as two days in a row, I had a flat tire on two different bikes, both on the rear... I guess I can't dispute video evidence.

Thanks for the advice as this is exactly what I did. I found a secluded area on the side of my building and lock it down to a steel fence. Not that many people walk by and I'll be purchasing an alarm soon to notify me if it's being moved or touched.

Therečs a little remote that vibrates whenever the alarm is set off.

And no, I won't get sacked.
