Found a nice 3/4in thick closed cell foam kneel pad yesterday. A rack & bungees on the commuter bike come in handy again.

Last Friday I found a utility knife, the kind with a sliding blade. Not a very good one, but hadn't been run over (yet). I took it. I find a lot of knives, and take them all, lest they cut up someone's tire. Why do I find so many knives? I don't know. It's a bit worrisome.
Yesterday I found a pair of channel lock pliers. Rusty, but look serviceable. I dunked them in a bucket of rust remover and will take a look later.

I have seemed to have found a lot of gloves this winter. I just left them there. I found it interesting that I would see one then some ways down the road I would see the other. Its like they fell off a work truck one by one.

Today, climbing "The Hump" of the Morgul Bismark, I found the contents of a wallet in the gutter strewn along the entire length of the climb. The really interesting thing was the cash: (3) 300 Dirham notes, (United Arab Emirates). The wallet with drivers license was on the berm; Everything else was soaking in the snowmelt running down the gutter. Just spoke to the owner, and arranged to give it to him tomorrow.

Found not one but two 13mm wrench within 20 ft of each other. Would have preferred a 15mm but oh well, took them both.

Big pair of slip-joint pliers with almost no rust or dirt. These were too long to fit in my handlebar bag, so I left them on the fence post.

I am not biking these days, but I found a free stroller and it was the model we borrowed from friends but we are too cheap to buy on our own.
There was a Punjabi festival up the street this weekend and there was a lot of free and delicious food which I suspect the rats liked since I saw more dead rats on the road than ever today.

Last year sometime I found an 8mm wrench on the Sloan Ave overpass, where it goes over the train tracks. A nice chromed one, 8 mm open at one end, ratcheting box at the other.
Yesterday, going over the same bridge, I found another one. Different brand, but also an 8 mm open and ratcheting box end wrench. Next time I'm hoping for a 9mm or a 10mm.
