Opinions on this Cross Check build.
An LBS near me is doing their own build on CC's. Anyone care to offer an opinion on their choice of components? It's a pretty interesting possibility, but I'm not much of a parts weenie, and wondered what others thought.

All in all this is a pretty solid mid line set up. How rigid are they about this selection of parts?
And you gotta at least consider a brooks saddle.

Never sat on a brooks, but definitley like the look on a Surly, so we'll see.

Not too shabby. I would upgrade the shifters to 105 personally, but it's probably not necessary. I too would go with SS, but if the legs aren't willing, then keep those gears.
