my Kharkov is named "The people's bike" because of its "CCCP" headbadge, decals, and the fact that I leave it locked up on campus and 3-4 of my friends have a key.

My home-built, Ebay parts fixie is Morganza. The wife refers to it as 'half-a-bike', since she thinks it is missing a lot of parts.
My Fuji Finest, with aero bars and some parts upgrades is Tadita (runner in the wind). And my custom IFab Crown Jewel is Ruby. Painted red, of course. |

OK, I took the literary route and named my bike Excelsior, Latin for "ever upward." Unfortunately, it hasn't helped with hills.
