Getting my Portland ready for the winter:
http://i35.tinypic.com/2ylmj5z.jpg New chain, new cabling, new paint job, everything has been re-packed with fresh grease, and hopefully new seat (this one is awful, but it was a freebie after my last one was stolen). |

Scott At3... you can't get them anymore.
But you can get Delta Ergo bars which are quite similar |

07 Trek 7.2fx. I got it in early summer 2008 and picked it up for around 250-300 brand new since it was last year's model. I recently did the 2009 AEBT on it. More pics here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...2&l=e88f853573 |

Here is my addition:
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2746/...c6a550a0_o.jpg This used to me my road bike. She served me very well and helped me lose 130 pounds. As a reward, I got a new race bike and am starting to turn this one into a full commuter. So far it is very comfortable. Last night was my first commute without a backpack on and it was glorious. I need to replace her shoes with something more puncture resistant and I want to get better lights. |

Don't necessarily come to this thread to see cityscape pix:rolleyes:
|
I enjoyed those pictures, ThePerchik.
|
Thanks Noglider.
My bad, just realized its a thread of the actual bikes, not the commute itself. Will post future shots on the how was your commute thread. |
You can't throw your bike in front of those shots?
|
For pictures of the Pacific Northwest I suggested a thread "The Beautiful PNW Photo thread".
Maybe we should start a "My Beautiful Commute Photo Thread" for the commuters. Maybe "Perchik" could start it with his pictures. |

Nice ride. that bike is exactly what I am looking for. flat bars, steel frame, no front derailer. it has a classic/clean look to it. Nobody sells bikes like this new it seems and i dont understand why. you can get a single speed but you cant get one with gears in back. |
You mean like this? I picked this up at a rummage sale and fixed it up and hope to find a happy owner. It's old but light and spritely.

Tom - That is a very pretty bike... you just don't see to many Fuji bikes that aren't road bikes.
