Nice ride! If I ever go car free, that bike is going to be my car replacement.

Replacing that car and it's associated expenses can mean that you can afford more than one bike and that the space in the garage that was once taken up by a car will have room for bike parking and a little work space.

Have been seeing a fellow here in the mornings who commutes on an Extracycle and provides taxi service to his son who looks to be about 5 or 6... my 10 year old daughter (a wee little thing) also likes getting taxi rides on my Extra-bike

My road commuter. An early 90's Lotus Legend partnered with a Tange fork. Shimano 600 derailleurs, 105 cranks, yadda yadda yadda! I want to find a control tech stem to match... or a Salsa, or 3T Pro Chrome. I need wider bars at the moment as well. No need for fenders here in Phoenix.

It works!

Worked over the UAV tonight... she had a hard winter and needed some TLC.

Got a new stem, bars, recycled some old chromed fenders, and a new bottom bracket went in.

Installed that tt protector when I was working as a messenger to protect the frame from locking up 100 times a day and as a winter bike it offers some good padding against freezing oneself to the top tube and if one was to go down on the ice it might save one's knee / leg from getting bashed up.

Ruptured the bursa in my knee and opened it up for half a dozen stitches when I slammed my knee into the top tube of this bike's sister... that kept me off the bike for almost 6 weeks.

I'm going to pick up new new bike, a Kona Smoke, on Tuesday, along with all the kit. I haven't got a photo, and to be honest it'll likely look pretty generic (albeit lovely), so I drew it instead. And yes, I do have some weird 20 inch spokeless variety of bike...

One of the best bike pics I've seen here (and I've looked at them all.) Thanks for making me smile.

Just brought her home today after months of waiting. And now the weather is going to be nice enough to ride her. Really my century bike, but all my base miles are commuting.

Is that a Pacer? How does it ride!?

It is a Pacer. The component group came from a 1990 Raleigh Supercourse, all old 6600 and a Biopace crank. Rides like a dream.
