Bikes: To many to list...
Here's my daily commuter to both work and to music club gigs, which are sometimes right after work nearby. I got tired of taking the subway with my amp, bass and other stuff to work and then wheeling it to the club, so I got a porteur rack, ditched the upright for a short-scale bass and now I'm totally free of paid public transport. Also it was a hassle taking a cab home at night and spending $12.

I got a new commuter bike!
It's an older Trek 830, unfortunately it's an 18", and I'm more of a 17" (or the 16.5"). However, for $65 it was a great deal. I spent $20 on new Kenda 26x1.5" tires and tubes. The rack, horn, pump, saddle, computer were all things I already had. I've also got some clip on fenders for the rainy days.
So far I love it though. I haven't gotten to test the tires (I've been riding on 2.1 mountain bike tires), but it looks pretty fun. I've been used to commuting on 700x23/25 for over a year.

Fantastic.
How do you like those mid-length fenders?

They don't keep the drivetrain clean, but they do keep me and anything on top of the rack pretty dry. I generally don't commute in the rain, but just after a rain is one of my favorite times to ride. For the $6 I paid for them, they're well worth it, though it did take a couple zipties to get them to not bang against the back wheel on the big bumps. (The seat tube clip is sized for steel; way too small for my aluminum seat tube, but there were already holes placed perfectly for the ziptie there. Another one to hold it against the bottom of the rack quieted the flapping.) Looks like Meijer has dropped the $6 version, but I can't see anything different about the $11 ones they have now: https://www.meijer.com/s/mighty-bike-...der/_/R-125801
I've thought about doing something similar to the old "skirt guards" to keep mud/water off the inner walls of the saddlebags. (I like being able to drape them over my shoulder while I'm racking the bike; having that surface coated with mud could be a real downer right at the start of my workday.)

It is our best season... my neighbourhood looks like this as most of the walks have a carpet of leaves on them.

Scored some new panniers at the gear swap yesterday... they are like new but got them for 25% of what they cost new.
I am overwhelmed with the number of pockets they have.. .

And they're on a kick-ass bike.
What kind of panniers are they?

Have to apologize for the crappy cel phone pic... must do better.
Panniers are MEC World Tour 40's - they compress pretty nicely and give me a little more heel clearance but will expand to about twice the size you see here.
Will also use them as the front bags for my touring bike and then I can utilize the forward bottle pockets.

[QUOTE=irclean;11535092]Very nice! Am I right in assuming that's a SA hub in front, too? BTW you must be freakishly tall; I'd need a ladder to get on that bike.
The Rossin used to look like that. The reason it looks so tall is because those are 26" wheels. I have swapped them out to 700c's I've posted the conversion on by blog. https://lovetocycle.wordpress.com/201...rossin-update/

Here is my Dahon Boardwalk 6 I picked up on Sunday. The guy I bought it from on CL said he had no calls for almost a month then 5 calls last weekend. I needed a replacement rear tire so I did that and it needs some more adjustment from the shifter, but even though its steel its so much lighter than the Schwinn Hinge thats listed on Craigslist right now. =) I am riding the the Dahon to work tomorrow and then putting it in the trunk and taking it with me on a work trip so I can ride Wednesday morning if I want to. This one is going to be my wife's folder once I get the bugs out of it.

In case you are wondering what the Schwinn Hinge looks like.

The Norco Vesta Alfine conversion on an Autumn ride a few weeks back.
I've since gone from the Schwalbe Marathon Supreme 32's to Kenda Smallblock 8 35's for winter crud, and have replaced the cascadia fenders with SKS P45's.

Here's a pic of the bike in "transition" mode - I took the fenders and rack off when I installed the 35mm cx tires so I could have some fun on local unpaved trails and singletrack during our gorgeous Indian Summer.

So do I... it was the first bike I could ride after fragging my back as I could not swing a leg over anything.
It has seen more modifications than any other bike I have ever owned and the people I ride with regularly are stunned that this little bike can do the things it does.
It is also my designated tow vehicle...
