That's a great looking bike. Those graphics work really well together.
Did you build it from a bare frame? |

took off the trunk bag now that the commute is really walking distance, a friend made the frame bag for me to try out as a prototype.
Done shopping for the season at lunch. |
An updated picture of my daily commuter with a 1x9 setup and a new Specialized Avatar Saddle. Changing the brake levers soon to something with non-metal levers due to the freezing temps.

The Velo-Orange catalog puked on my bike! Thank you cyclin' Santa! I bought some new lights too, the Sigma 3-LED headlight and 5-LED tail weren't cutting it. Now I have a 9-LED headlight that matches fitment with one of my flashlights. Pretty handy! |
Love your bike, BattleRabbit. Nicely done.
It is a perfect example of 80s steel adapted for commuting use. |

I agree--nice setup, and he probably got the bike for a fraction of the cost of a suitable new bike.

I use this to travel through time and relative dimension in space!
Here is my 2009.5 Kona Dr. Dew 56 cm. FSA Metropolis bars, Travel Contact 700x37.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-2...age13_0014.jpg Here it is in Mt. Dew form. Turns out my 26" rims from my IronHorse fit it just fine with WTB Weirwolfs, but I have to take the P45 longboards off. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-S...128_155326.jpg I have a set of drops to try out but i need some bb7s and some barcons first. |

Hey, new to the forum. Thought I'd post my commuter bike. Love this thing, so comfortable and smooth. My first nice bike and have been commuting back and forth to school for the past semester. Felt great and it's nice to ride on the cold New Hampshire mornings haha.

Here's my bike which I use for commuting. Diamondback Copperhead (circa 2007) with rack & SPD pedals. Front tire: Continental Touring Plus. Rear tire: Continental City Contact. Just about everything has been repaired, replaced or upgraded at some point. Only change since this pic are the studded tires. It's gone through 3 years of 3 season commuting. This is my first winter of commuting so we'll see how the bike survives.
