New Trek fx 7.3 disk. Pic of it out on a nice last weekend with it. Need to swap out the bar and grips for something a little more comfortable that I can put some bar ends on.

I have one, too. Check your seatpost often for cracks. Mine cracked the first or second year. Warranty replacement. But I want to get an aluminum one for safety.
Thanks, mine actually already cracked. I also had it replaced under warranty and they gave me a carbon wrapped aluminum post as a replacement.

Bikes: To many to list...

I probably won't commute much on this 1995 Giant Allegre, but I thought I would share some shots I took this weekend.

If I had the money to do it I would steal your whole build and color idea.

Only partly kidding, if you have them lined up, not only does it look better, but it makes finding the small things in the tire that caused the puncture much easier.

Bikes: See my sig...

I have gone on a weight reduction program (< 23 pounds as fitted) for those sunny, rain free, baggage free days.

If you want to know the answers these important questions you need to ask the guys at Blue's Bikes in Lincoln that put this bike together in 1994. =) I bought it last summer from a guy that barely used it after buying it to train for a triathlon and then it hung in the garage 25+ years. Its in amazing condition. I got everything re-greased and back together so ts been great to ride it last weekend. I'll switch out the tires at some point although they are in good condition and I have been trying to remember to line everything up with the label and tire pressure info. I need to ride it some more to decide how I want to set it up.

I am glad you enjoyed the pictures and memories. =) Some people here kinda rip on Lincoln saying it isn't this and that, but its a really nice place to live actually and a great town for cycling. I think alot of people would be shocked how much of that happens here. Its a really beautiful place in so many ways. Sure its not perfect, but its pretty great overall. I grew up in the middle of nowhere in South Dakota so this is like fast paced city living to me. My wife grew up in the burbs of the Twin cities so she used to refer to this as the country. I think Lincoln is finally growing on her after living here around 7 years after 4 years of college here as well. She still isn't a fan of the Husker craze, but she doesn't like sports. LOL

Is that a Nitto stem? Awesome bike. Giant Lugged steel and a threaded headset - right up my alley. Wish I had one!! That would solve my Rivendell craving problem.

Thanks for the compliments and yes its a Nitto stem. I am still trying to decide if I want to leave it as-is or put some brifters on it.

Bikes: See my sig...

I love riding when the sun is shining and there is no need for fenders or studded tyres... and just a backpack will do.

My Proctor's close cousin... my Moulden XC / MX

Am still recovering from my fall in December where I fragged both my ankles so have not been riding much but have covered 90km in the last three days... took it easy today and did not push things hard at all.

My legs are killing me.

Clearly that bike is WAY too big for you. Unless that is not how you ride it.

Wow. Is that one of those old light generator thingies? You need to stop riding this bike and have it framed. LOL.
