lotta nice bike pron posted today!
MulliganAl, your Hillborne is gorgeous (as are all rivbikes)
Hardy, is that a travelerscheck? I've got a crosscheck in the same color. Those fenders create the illusion that there's a bike-shaped hole in that ivy that you happened upon and your bike just fit perfectly!
bendoza, that Trek is classic (and the rack looks cool too). Also love your GT, it looks almost identical to my GT Backwoods (except a lot cleaner!)

That quad is awesome! So cool that you are able to help your mom stay mobile and active!
Yep, my Backwoods is just for trails, I ride my CrossCheck for everything else (and even that sometimes on light trails). Shopping for a 29er to be my trail bike though...

Awesome idea. I've got some 16" wheels laying around; going to figure out how to attach them to my mom's bike.

I figured i'd post it as I was noting on another thread that my commute bike does not conform to the conventional wisdom. but for a city commute with stairs, trains, turnstiles and crowds to navigate + traffic where its good to be going at least 20mph: add in ironman toughness (I have been assaulted while riding through west oakland.. bike went flying and in seconds I was up and gone.. bike never missed a beat!) and rock hard paint (even if it is a bit dinged and chipped at this point). my best commute bike so far.

That is bad-a$$! It looks similar to a crosscheck, except the cable runs under the toptube. That army green makes it look like a tank that can plow through anything, which it probably can -- also diggin the giant cassette back there, you can climb anything with that!
Thanks I love this new fuji touring bike. After a few hundred miles i'll make a review since this bike doesn't really have much for newer reviews

Ready for another 50,000 miles
This 'Quest' is my everyday commuter, it just turned over 50,000 miles this week. Took 9 1/2 years. Other then the frame it has only one original part.

This 'Free Sprit' is my winter / really bad weather commuter. Not much to look at but cheaper then rebuilding the 'Quest' every Spring.
