I'm so crazy about these Ravx lights that I have them on all my bikes and run them all the time, including daylight rides. They're actually much, much brighter than the above photo illustrates.

mechBgon, I'm impressed!
Actually, there's a lot of really good stuff here.

B&M DToplight XS:

Battery-powered, non-flashing. Has two LEDs that are oriented for better side visibility.
B&M IQ Cyo R:

I also have a PDW Fenderbot mounted to my rear fender, a Dinotte 140L (red) attached to my rear rack, and a Dinotte 200L (amber) light attached to my helmet.

The Reflexite V82 is really impressive looking. Is there an economical way to get just a single roll? Shipping costs from night-gear.com is over $6 for a roll that only costs $1.75. Is it available in any store or is there a similar product available in stores?

Is the V82 tape easy to trim/cut? I've got some SOLAS tape, and you basically need to use a new blade otherwise it tends to get "gouged."
I'm seriously considering adding some SOLAS or V82 tape to my Velocity rims. They're tall enough that I might get some decent side visibility with the added tape.

My contribution is a B&M IQ Cyo Senso Plus in chrome. Most of my lights are B&M, some of the best stuff out there in dyno powered. Tail light is a B&M 4D Lite. The other picture is a 1973 Sturmey Archer AG 3 speed dyno hub, still chugging along after nearly 40 years, it powers the Cyo and 4D.

Nice rigs!
I focus on large patches of surface area - e.g. my body. I bought a couple of reflecto-vests with white SOLAS tape, cut them up and used velcro to make into leggings so that the back of each leg has a huge vertical reflecto-stripe. Using the highly scientific "have the wife follow me in the car" test, she said they are by far the most visible part of me (and not the 2 blinkies and all the reflective stuff on the bike).
Sample vests:

Next up in my mad scientist plans: reflecto-stripes front and back, arms, lower back, chest, legs.

Here are some blasts from the past.
These are Cateye light sets. I have used both sets at some point in the past. The larger set is older and used D cell batteries the black one with the round lens used C cells. The block generator is a Soubitez and was used for a while as a secondary light on my newspaper delivery bike.

In the depths of winter here it gets dark at 4 so I recently got interested in black reflective tape and better lights. As I was at it, I think I paid £2 for a pair of these:

They snap on a spoke, have a light and motion sensor. When it's dark and in motion it flashes, alternating between red and blue leds. Adds some good side visiblity for a couple quid! Go to ebay and search for spoke light.

I got these but haven't figured how to put them on. They snap on? I'll look at them again...
I just got three brackets for mounting a planet bike superflash blinky. I have one such blinky, and I'll buy two more. Then I'll see if I can fashion a bar and put all three mounts and blinkies on it. I want to be able to move the bar from bike to bike. (I have lots of bikes.) I figure I'll make the center light glow constantly and have the side lights blink.
I have a nice modern flashlight mounted to my handlebars and a new Blackburn X4 mounted to my helmet. I might reverse these, but so far, so good. So I'll have two headlights and three taillights. If I can get these spoke lights to work, I'll be set.
These headlights get me a lot of respect. I even run the helmet light in the day. Car drivers have become very kind to me and cautious. And this is Noo Joizy we're talking about!
Aaron, I had those lights. I might still have them somewhere. But I really don't want to run anything but modern lights nowadays.
