yup, what yoshi said.
yoshi -- i love the brooklyn promenade, and find going down that hill a blast! i especially love the view from the promenade when it is shrouded in fog, like your photo.

I saw this thread once, went out and took some pics, came back and it was "gone." Anyway, I guess I got it confused with the commuter bike pics thread.
These photos were taken on my commute in Santa Barbara/Montecito December 23.
1. Beach bike path, 2. Bird refuge, 3. Cottage in Montecito, 4. View from my office parking lot.
It's hell living in Santa Barbara.

Hi guys! Glad y'all liked that last photo. I didn't post any details with it since I thought it pretty much spoke for itself.
For those interested, that is looking west from Browning, Montana toward Glacier National Park. I was doing some work in our office there. Couldn't resist.

my panos were with my crappy canon s230, with auto-everything turned on. i stitched everything together using photoshop cs.
i've since moved on to a canon digital rebel. those photos are slightly large and i haven't resized them, so i haven't posted those. :>

Quick reply just to say your photos so totally make my day. Most of Sweden, even the southern part, is covered with half a meter (2 feet) of snow this exceptionally cold spring.
I don't have a bike anymore, but the one I'm gonna buy - a totally new one - will be in stores in about 2 weeks. At that time the snow will hopefully have melted away.
In the meantime, I live through your pics, so keep posting!

I use a Minolta Dimage xt, which is a tiny point-and-shoot digital. Smaller than a deck of cards. Small enough to take everywhere, including on backpack trips and bike rides!
