My usual 9.25 miles in 55 minutes. The weather was a bit cooler than it has been because it rained mid afternoon.
Saw my mom driving, mutual wave; its always kind of a small thrill when you see someone you know.

Fantastic ride home this morning! A coworker rode along beside me to the front of my neighborhood. I got home in 46 minutes where it usually takes an average of 55. I'd forgotten what it was like to have a riding partner.... And its so nice to have cooler weather... :-)

I'm off today but with nothing to do I think I'll hit the bike trail after lunch. It's a good day outside.
Update: Back from the bike trail. 20 miles on a bike trail in 2 and a half hours is a piece of cake for me now. I feel like I need to challenge myself more.

today was a non work day but still went out in the after noon hours for a casual commute to "nowhere in particular" for 10 miles. Ran across a dead armadillo and got chased by a fluffy lap dog. Luckily 15 mph was to much for him to keep up with and gave up chase.

I'm jealous... still not on the bike. Will be a couple of months before I can ride again.
Ugh. I guess it's not all bad if I don't have to go back to work, either.

Another wonderful ride to work. Will have to find a different route home, more of my ride is tore up for road constrction. Most of the part I rode in on was repaved and smooth as silk. But the otherside had been ground and is too rough to ride on. It's gonna be nice when it is done, maybe next week.

A pleasant ride in at 72 F (22 C). I enjoy the way the gears and the chain behave in the warmer weather, as everything just clicks at the right moment. I guess the encroaching darkness is reminding me of what is to come.

Most excellent ride this morning. A "cold" front came through yesterday, dumping several inches of rain, which cooled things off - temporarily. High temps are only supposed to hit the mid-90s today after hovering at or above the 100 mark most of last week. Got caught in a real toad-strangler yesterday at the 50-mile point in a metric century. We were so sweaty from the extreme humidity that I didn't think it was possible to get any wetter, but then we rode 10 miles in a torrential downpour. Had to remove my seat post when I got home and pour the water out of my seat tube.

Nice 30-mile ride with friends on Saturday.
Ride in this a.m. was quiet, so many runners out there. I am approaching the big one-year of commuting anniversary. This means I am approaching my reward of a new commuter bike...I'll be looking for Bike Forum reccomendations.

70f Crazy humid out, had thunderstorms all night and the streets were full of debris. I'm not used to humidity we rarely get it inBboise and I'm hoping that it's gone by this afternoon when it hits the 90's.

Wow, I thought this mornings commute was nice. Another 18 miles one way, but Wow! the weather in South Florida this afternoon was amazing. Not super humid, probably in the 80's with a nice breeze, and rain storm clouds to keep the air nice and cool. Going to burn up this little Bell Cyclocomputer at this rate. 2 round trip commutes and i am loggd @ 74 miles. Not including the 10 mile joy ride I took on saturday. Shout out to the Dicks Sporting Goods Kenda 700X35 tires. I was nervous about getting them at $14 a tire, but so far have handled fairly well. I am sure they are heavier then others but that doesn't matter to me.

Nice day. 24°C/75.2°F @ 17:30. A lot of wobbly, unpredictable bicycle riders on the local MUP and bike lanes, not too many commuters (Holiday today, BC Day). Whupped butt on a couple of boy racers half my age thought their place in the natural order of things was to stay ahead of the greybeard on his Fredded-out Frankencommuter. Imagine their suprise...

After a rain yesterday evening, everything is nice. A good ride in at 71 F ( 22C). Day time temps are supposed to be cooler toward
the end of the week. Outside of storms, it should be a good week.

Nice, fast commute this morning. My legs felt good and the temperature and humidity were relatively low, compared to what it's been lately around here. I was shooting for a record time, but the red lights were my downfall -- I hit just about every one of them, including all of the long lights. Still managed to average 17.5 mph, which is a fast commute by my standards and route.

Ughh 72f Humid again, I know I know you guys in the south and what not get this every year but we generally don't deal with warmth and humidity here in the city of trees. Supposed to be thunderstorms today and I actually hope it rains on me today it will feel niice. I also think I may have finally located the source of my squeek I think I may have been a combo of my chain ring being loose and my pedals needing rebuilt

nicer today but still muggy. Legs felt OK but still there were segments where I felt zonked like I was pushing my limit even though I knew I wasn't. Overall still made good time. Can already tell that the days are getting shorter, between the later sunrises and the clouds I've been using my lights these past two mornings.

Got a really nice 55 mile ride in on Sunday, but it killed my commuting speeds yesterday and today xD. Today is supposed to be the hottest day this year getting up to around 110f.

Not bad. 64F/18C with a light headwind. Humid though. For the last couple of miles on the MUP, something dark was chasing me. I caught glimpses of it in my mirror, way back, as it passed through sunlight. Never caught me though. Once I noticed it, I spooled up, and eventually I didn't see it any more.

Had one instance of a little shi-tzu dog off leash. I gave her owner lots of warning to get the dog out of harm's way, but she stepped to the right and left her dog sitting in the middle of the path. "Oh, sorry," she said, and still made no effort to get the dog out of the way.
Weather was great, though. Had a couple would-be Lances try to draft without asking, but they got dropped pretty quickly
