Need a new saddle

Noticed my current one has a slight tear on the right rear. It came stock with the bike and I've never really been comfortable on it, no matter how much I've fiddled with it- tilted up/down, slide fore/aft, even the overall height.

Went to a Specialized shop a while back and the guy measured my sit bones and proclaimed that I need a 155 (actual 152) sized saddle. I ride what is essentially a rigid mtb with 26" slicks and 95% of my riding is paved.

Before I drop the $$ on what they have in stock- is there any other makes/models to consider?*

TIA

*If you're going to suggest Brooks (and it's just a question of 'when' and not 'if'), be so kind as to state the model. They've got a bunch of models to choose from...

Ok, I'll get it over with (started?). I've got the Brooks B-17 saddle on both my LHT and fixed gear with straight bars. I like the B-17, but can't speak to other Brooks saddles.

Your Butt is not sitting on My saddle, Nor visa versa ..

The Leather saddle will sag in the spots where your bones press on them ,
then It is yours..
Kind of why they have fans,

but if the setback is insufficient and you find yourself sitting on the rivets,
thats no good..

Cannot learn a thing by words and pictures of saddles , Ya have to sit on them

The Selle Anatomica seems worth a look. It is not cheap, but is reported ( by wife for one ) to be very comfortable right out of the box.
