and see them stop at the same store I do, then they turn back the way they came... and by store I mean convenience not grocery... and that's just one example I can name off the top of my head.. let alone how often people run "errands" in suv's etc that amount to nothing more then being lazy.. but it's not everyone I will admit it.

Give me a healthy girl that likes to ride a bike any day. They have more stamina for other activities.

If they really wanted to leave a mark, they could compare the bike to a Volt.
Cost: First you'll have to find one for sale. Good luck.
Fuel cost: To be determined.
Recharging time: longer than it takes to eat a banana and drink a few ounces of water, that's for sure.

Eh, I'm one of those cycling college students and my daily commute is around 20 miles round trip. I do happen to have a car but I'm not going to pay $250 for student parking and then walk 20 minutes from the parking lot to my first class. I can also get to school faster than driving due to Houston traffic and my ingenious shortcuts. Moreover I just love the exercise, I can't hit the gym as often as I'd like between work, school and homework so the chance to ride everyday is something I'm very grateful for.
