Need recommendations of new bike frame and fork
Hi All,
New here, and would like some recommendations for a good frame/fork combo for commuting. I have all the other parts for the bike but im wanting a new frame/fork.
So.... can anyone recommend a good commuting frame? Specs needed:
- Flatbar
- Horizontal dropouts or EBB as im going to run Alfine 11 w 135mm spacing
- Disc brakes compatible
- Mudguards and rack compatible
- Prefer aluminium or steel frame/forks
Any recommendations appreciated.

I'm not completely sure what's compatible with Alfine. But, here's some names of companies that make frames: Civia, Surly, Salsa, Soma and Nashbar. Maybe people can name some more. Chainreactioncycles has a variety of random frames they sell as well.
