These are good. Someone makes a sole insert that one heats in the microwave. I just use Lake winter road boots a size larger and thick, knee high Smartwool socks. My commute's 1.5 hrs and my feet stay warm. It rarely gets cold enough around here to warrant anything beyond that. These would be nice for centuries, cold weather touring in addtion to cold climate commuting.
