Adjustable stem?
I was looking for a stem for the commuter that is adjustable. I tend to like a more upright riding positing for laid back riding, but I would like the option to drop it down if it is especially windy that day.
Do you have any suggestions? I was looking into the Ritchey stem, but the 2-piece clamp I don't like so much. There is no such thing as a quick adjustment with that stem.

I use this one on my commuter:
Kalloy Adjustable Stem @ Jenson USA
Works great but I'm not so sure how quick the adjustment would be...you'd need an allen wrench.

That is a great price too! I haven't ordered from Jenson, how are they with shipping? No issues?

I don't like Kalloy products, they cut too many corners, IMHO. Anything I bought in the past had crappy bolts. I much prefer Dimension products from Universal Cycles for value priced parts. I have two of their adjustable stems.

Never heard of Universal but it looks like they have an adjustable Dimension stem for $30.

It's definitely on the expensive side, but one of the members here created an adjustable stem here last year. He posted about it, but I forget the link. It was a pretty slick setup that allowed you to adjust the handlebar height on the fly.
