Need Recommendations for Bright Green Jersey and Jacket
I am New member looking for advice on Jersey and Jacket recommendations. I would also like opinions on vest and arm warmers. I know I am asking a lot, but while Im at it, these items ideally would have pockets in front and back.
I have been searching the web and I see items that are very close to my needs, but it seems like they are always lacking some of my preferred features.
This forum looks like a very helpful place to start educating myself in becoming a more serious bike rider. I have recently bought a trek 7.6 that I purchased at a very good price and I am ready to take the next step in becoming a better cyclist.
Thank you BF members and have a safe day!

Welcome to the great world of cycling. Glad you dropped in at the forum and if your interested in cycling outerwear, I would suggest looking into a cycling jacket for cooler weather. I had one of those bright green high visibility jackets and didn't like it because it didn't breath. The venting part of the jackets are a very important feature and most good name brand jackets will have those features. As far as jerseys, any of those team jerseys or cycling specific jerseys you'll find online or at your local bike shop will work as they are designed to be comfortable and wick moisture well. Stay away from cotton clothing as it soaks up moisture and sticks to your body, very uncomfortable. As far a pockets are concerned you will find most garments have the 3 pockets in the back and none in the front. They design it that way so stuff won't hang out in front of your body while riding. Others will chime in soon with more suggestions. Enjoy! and be safe out there.

op is your avatar a handgun?
btw good luck with your quest, I remember it taking me years to assemble what I have now. don't feel bad if the right thing is hard to find. that's what will make it that much more motivating once you get it.

I buy safety gear , My Neon Lime parka was made By Carhartt.. it had wide reflective stripes.
they make a 'hoodie' sweatshirt too.. the strips are bonded into the fabric rather than sewn on..
You can Buy a Safety Vest with all the striping and bright colors on it ,
then wear it over whatever else you choose to wear , on the job..
It's not Fred,
if it saves your life.

Cycling specific outer wear with front and rear pockets may be hard to find...
A good place to look for non-cycling specific wear is alert shirt- https://alertshirt.com/.

Thank you for the suggestions! I am still reviewing my options.
Yes! My avatar is a kimber 45, 1911 gold combat with a surefire light on it. (Its For Sale). Had a clark custom compensator put on it and it shoots lights out with low recoil. I have a kimber pepper gel blaster that I want to have easy access to while riding. The people around here don't understand what a leash law is sometimes.
Do any of you wear a vest with arm warmers?
Thxs.

I have an older Pearl Izumi vest, in screaming yellow/green, that I wear very often, with smartwool armwarmers. My version of the vest has a mesh back and no pockets, but I wear jerseys underneath, so I can lift the back up to get at my jersey pocket. It looks like their current lineup doesn't have the mesh back, which I highly value. This vest and armwarmer combination is my favorite cold weather combo (50s to 30s (when warmed up), good breathability and adjustability, and it can be layered on top of very easily. The vest is just awesome, it is over 10 years old, and I will be very sad when I have to replace it. The armwarmers are great, but they are not wind-blocking. I still very much like them, but have considered something with a bit more heft (like PI AmFib, which I have in legwarmers) occasionally.
For my primary outer layer, I have a PI Attack jacket from 2008, also in screaming yellow/green. It serves as my colder-weather (from 40s to 20s) outer-layer, and is not as breathable or adjustable as I would like. It has slash front pockets (that can be opened to vent), chest vents, and a rear pocket (designed to hold the hood, which I have never used). When it needs replacing, I will get something with better ventilation and/or a light softshell. I do, however, like the partial (sleeve) mesh lining, since I often wear it without sleeves underneath. Ostensibly, it is a rain jacket, but in most temps when it is warm enough to rain it's too warm to wear the jacket. Only in the 40s, or _maybe_ heavy rain in the 50s, would I consider wearing it as a rain jacket.

The C9 brand at Target has good choices at reasonable prices, I'm still using some of the stuff I bought years ago.
