Pretty slow build up this time of year as it's holiday season. Just spent six days in Ireland and off for 2 weeks to Central Europe.
Upon returning, I'll give the bike a clean and a quick tune-up (brake pads, fenders and bike computer) and take a few photos.
Let's see how it goes!

acidfast7 got banned. I'm not sure if he requested it or if he fouled out, he didn't show up in the banned users thread this time.

Upkeep on that thread is not thorough and people who ask for their account to be locked in a huff may not appear.
AC7 popped in a year or so ago with a new account but did not persist

The video about Islabikes is wonderful. I suppose the UK has different regulations. Long ago, the US made it illegal for kids' bikes to have QR skewers, and I suppose that's fair enough because adults don't know how to operate them. Hand brakes are legal here but disfavored, and the new trend is having no front brake at all. I wonder if the no-front-brake trend comes from some regulation. I'm very heartened to see Isla's emphasis on light weight and quality. It's true that some kids' bikes are practically crimes because they're so bad. I spent a lot of money on bikes for my kids because I couldn't bear to let them ride that crap. I also understand why parents don't want to spend the money on real bikes because raising kids is so expensive.
