Wheel builder in GTA

Can anyone recommend a wheel builder (i.e., LBS) in the GTA? Building up a road bike and would like to go with handmade/custom wheels.

Urbane was recommended to me by an acquaintance.

Thanks.

I'm sure Urbane or Bikes on Wheels would do a decent job but if it's a super expensive +/or low spoke count set, maybe talk to one of the shops that deals with higher end racing bikes. Personally I'd try La Bicicletta or Dukes before Urbane for custom wheels.

While these folks focus on tandems, David is a renowned wheel builder and can do custom work. Mike

Graphs: I'll check out La Bicicletta. For some reason, didn't think of them.
mchell: Interesting link. Never heard of these guys before but will definitely contact them.
Thanks!

Hoop Driver - Martin is the owner there and he is very meticulous.

Will check it out--store is new to me, as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Cycle Solutions on Parliament St. has a guy who does wheels for the Canadian Olympic team or some such organization. Might want to talk to them because it's been a couple of years.

Paul Schnepf at Bicycle Works in Waterdown. 30 years experience and a very knowledgeable guy. Small shop and mostly MTB, but he is an avid road cyclist/mechanic and former racer.

Dan at Bikes on Wheels is THE BEST WHEELBUILDER IN TORONTO. I've never had to true any wheel he's built for me. They have a good selection of Mavic and Velocity rims. There was a guy at Sweet Pete's who built my racing wheels who was great, but he's outta the biz now.
