Still having issues with the Garmin Magnetless Speed Sensor
Hey all,
I'm still having issues with the Garmin Magnetless speed sensor with my Garmin 520. I've got the sensor on my front wheel, I've tried removing the battery, forcing the diameter to be the measured value, and swapping a new speed sensor in altogether- but it still doesn't work. I wonder if it's because it's a steel frame bike w/ disc brakes. I'm posting this as much so that other people who may ve having similar issues will know it's not just them. I was also wondering if the Wahoo magnetless sensor might work better cause it's based on using an accelerometer instead of a magnetometer. Alternatively, I may just go and get either a Sigma or Wahoo Blue SC sensor.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks
