What frequncy do the wireless computers normally operate at?

I was curious what the frequencies were of the common wireless computers(such as cateye and ascent) operate at. are we talking the 400 mhz range, 900 mhz, 2.4ghz like the newer cordless phones? I know ea transmitter needs to be synced with the receiver/computer, how far off is each sync frequency?
