Garmin Edge 500 from PBK? Any concerns?
I am thinking about purchasing it from PBK but I have never bought any electronics from a foreigh vendor. Have you ever had any problems such as warrenty isuues? Please let me know if I am overlooking something here. Thank you for your time in advance.

I've purchased from PBK 6-7 times. Shipment to NJ has been a week or so, great savings, items exactly as ordered. They are reliable.

And if you have any problems with the unit, Garmin is a US company and has pretty good warranty service. I don't think that they care where you bought it from

The 705 from PBK comes with a euro plug on the standalone charger. But that's really not needed (unless you travel without a computer), since it charges from the computer's usb cable, too.
There's no tracking on the PBK shipments, and they require you to wait 30 days before making a claim. But it appears they are good about lost shipments.
The last shipment I got from them took 9 days instead of 6. I was starting to worry a bit.
Also -- the credit card company added on a charge of 3% of the amount. Ouch. It seems to be standard for most cards. And they always flag the purchase and make me verify it.
