The screen or backlighting will not light -up. I know it use to change at Sunset to a night mode but now I am getting nothing. The screen lights up when I turn it on and everything is loading ,the maps, but then nothing.
I have gone to Display and then used Backlight Timeout to set it but nothing.
Am I missing something?

Maybe the brightness is turned all the way down? Press the power button to bring up the status page to adjust it.

Thanks. That along with another setting that defaulted to Off caused the 880 not to light up. What a shame that with the level of tech Garmin has there areso many glichtes with there products.
But it is working now!
