Ive been looking into a crank type power meter and the quarq site doesn't list my Garmin 705 as compatible but does list the garmin 800 810 . // Is this the case ?? and a friend told me about a year ago that training peaks can only be run on a PC , I have a mac .. Contact Quark, but I'm almost certain it works with the 705 (PT, SRM, and others do). Don't know about Macs and TPeaks, but you can likely use a third party windows shell on the mac or a stick to using the web version.

Yes, Quarqs new and old work with the Garmin Edge 705. I have a first-gen on my single and a Saturn (second-gen?) on my tandem, both work with my 705 (and my brand-new 810 - yippee!).

Nothing wrong with the iBike Newton. Setup a profile for each bike, calibrate and your done.
