62 miles in rain and wind. Was only able to average about 18 mph but a good workout regardless.

35.9 miles on the Masi Gran Criterium. Left a little before 9AM, returned home at 20 to noon. Had to get home to take the tandem over to a shop for some headset work.

63 miles today in what stared off on a cool, overcast ride and ended up on a hot and sunny ride. Great ride none-the-less.

OldTryGuy 07-14-13 03:14 PM

Only a 2 mile bike to pool, 1400 yard swim and 2 miles back home. Morning started at 0442 with a warm and humid 10K jog then a 5K walk with wife after she woke up.

Late night ride Saturday to tour the Goodguys Hot Rods Hotels in far north side of Columbus metro area. 27 great miles of Hot Rods.

River Trail yesterday in Laramie Wyoming, couple miles of neighborhood in Tremonton Utah

Easy 37 mile ride with a new cycling aquaintance. He rides a Cannondale, so he's "worthy" as a riding buddy. :)

rdtompki 07-14-13 09:47 PM

My weekly longer ride: 44 miles, 3800' of climbing. Not much of an average speed, however.

19 miles yesterday evening... Cannon Falls to Welch and back, next to the nearly-flooded Cannon River. Gorgeous.

Question - Is the Bontrager computer set to your exact wheel size (700x32) pretty accurate?

700X32 or 700X23? Did you mistype? Most can be set for the correct wheel and tire size. I think the default on the ones I've used, a Bell and a Specialized, was for 700x23. The instructions will tell you how to set it to the correct wheel and tire/tyre size.

65 miles on sat with the local "pedal for paws" bike ride. 11 more yesterday as a recovery ride.

John_V 07-15-13 12:25 PM

Resting. Taking it easy and cleaning the bike today.

OldTryGuy 07-15-13 02:19 PM

Biked to FIL's house then to WM then to food store with a stop at Home Depot on the way. Just made it home and the clouds opened up. Relaxing but warm and humid 12 miles.

18 mile early morning ride today before it got hot!

mht7159 07-15-13 07:03 PM

14 miles at 14.8 avg.

cuzzinit 07-15-13 07:51 PM

Found another River trail, this time in Ogden Utah. Really hot day:twitchy::twitchy::twitchy:

jimmuller 07-15-13 07:57 PM

Just my normal commute today. Yes, it was hot.

I froze both water bottles before leaving work. They actually stayed cold for about 45 minutes!

vhj 07-15-13 08:37 PM

18 miles on the mountain roads in my neighborhood. After 5:30 pm to catch more shade, still hot in the sun. I tried a couple of new turns and found some more good climbs. I've been carrying three water bottles and other things to increase the weight. Bike and all at 36lbs. Felt strong today.

Bikey Mikey 07-16-13 08:35 AM

24 miles this AM, 84ºF(feels like 90º).

OldTryGuy 07-16-13 10:21 AM

Two segmented rides today. First one out at 0615 with friend for 30 miles and second with another friend at 0830 for 40 miles. Beautiful weather just a bit windy towards the end.

John_V 07-16-13 11:30 AM

34 miles at the wilderness MUP. Today's ride was a bit difficult because of the strong crosswinds and Florida Forestry doing controlled burns in the park. The smoke being carried by the winds made it somewhat hard to breath in certain areas. Hope they aren't burning tomorrow.

gdmercad 07-16-13 06:09 PM

Camping in Gettysburg, PA. Got in 30 miles the last two days riding around the Battlefields sites. Getting out early due to the weather (hot!) My wife and I just started riding and are loving it!.

Bikey Mikey 07-17-13 06:22 AM

Managed to drag my a** out of bed at 0500 and got in 40 miles.
