45 miles which included an overpopulated MUP of runners, three bathroom stops, getting rained on and a GPS that went haywire. Not a pretty ride today.

50 tandem miles on the Greencastle Grand Tour today. Beautiful weather and scenery for riding with a group of ten.
First stop across the street from the restored Amo Interurban Station:

As usual I rode one of the 25 mile routes around our village's area, in the afternoon. Still having some what cooler temps and humidity for the Central Gulf Coast in September. Its back to trying to time things around the thunderstorms.

28.1 miles with 200 feet of climbing (including 4 expressway overpasses). Eastern Cook County IL and western Lake County IN are pretty flat. 2 buddies on Domanes and I on my Masi rode on the new bike trail that goes over Wolf Lake. Pix next time we do the loop.

Welcome to the 50+ Forum neumsky. Glad you are joining us here in the asylum.

Got in 25.2 miles this afternoon. The cotton is starting to pop out in the fields now, should be pretty in about a week or so.

Humidity in the 80% range but the overcast sky made it very acceptable for a good 35 mile ride. Did some solo riding, hooked up with a small paceline and also got to do some riding with the wife, since I lapped her on the way back to the parking lot.

Did not want to ride today after running on the treadmill yesterday because of heavy rain. I always take off on Sundays from riding so with yesterday's downpour it was two days off in a row. After I was done my 20 miler I felt great. Classic example of not wanting to ride and take a nap but ignored that thought and had a great ride.

20 miler and it felt like a decent workout. The temps have backed down a bit and plenty of clouds made for a good ride.

Our last of 6-10 mile Time Trials on Charlotte Motor Speedway. Finished in 23:55 (25 mph) which allowed me to place 3rd for the series in my age group.

55 miles home to Mt Vernon and back. Man the Mount Vernon Trail is really getting rough. It really wasn't much fun at all on a road bike.

20 miles after work yesterday - finished the ride at dusk so I'll have to find my headlight and get it charged. Love the long summer night skies up here north of the 49.
