25.08 miles today, way too warm for January, 70°F. Supposed to be back to normal winter temps later this week.

Managed another 25 mile ride this afternoon. Temperature was very different today, it was 53ºF when I rode.

Temps this morning were in the mid 60s when I started my ride but quickly warmed up into the 70s with overcast skies all morning. This made for a really nice 35 mile ride. This is why I live in Florida.

One of the few days I chose not to ride. Freezing rain last night with some potential for roads to be impacted. I decided to be prudent for a change and walk to work. Glad I did.

No

...but I rode yesterday: 20 mile round trip commute in ~20°F temps.
Hoping to ride tomorrow also, but it's not looking promising for any serious miles. :::sigh:::

Wanted to do a 45 or 50 mile ride today but the wife wanted to wait till the sun came out to go and ride. Too late of a start to get in what I wanted so I ended up with another 35 mile ride today. It was a little windy but otherwise a beautiful day for a bike ride.

25.5 miles on a beautiful afternoon, good to get back on track. Or, at least close to being back.

Beautiful day for a ride. Tied my personal best of 12 miles. Have finally got the sit bone pain and leg numbness out of the way, thank you Selle Anatomica.
Now can concentrate on gradually increasing mileage. Goal for this season is a 20 mile ride.

30 miles from Douthat State Park:

https://www.strava.com/activities/241919879

Kind of strange to do an out-and-back when there are so many great loop routes available, but it was super windy, and I wanted to have a guaranteed tailwind for the last half

For some reason Nevada forgot to pay their Sun bill. It's been grey and overcast here forever. 16.5 miles on the new trike after 4 days in the VA Hospital, blood clots in the legs and lungs probably from the idleness during recovery from the fractured pelvis [bike crash Nov]. Not even that nor pneumonia will keep me from riding for long. Damn this 'getting old'-don't like it.

After considerable research, experimentation, and experience I decided that adulthood is not for me. Please accept my resignation.

Woo-hoo! First ride since 1/2/15 (It's been Cold here). 20 miles on an almost-warm (upper 40's), sunny but windy afternoon. Mostly headwinds on the way out but, magically, the wind stopped and I was able to ride much faster than usual on the way back! I must be stronger after not riding for a while!

1st real ride of 2015 (although I had taken one sub-freezing spin on new years day). Todays ride was cold, windy, semi-sunny, and with plenty of ice still on the shady side-streets. I loved it! Had a great time.

105 miles with 5400' of climbing with 40 miles of new cycling roads to me. Rode through the Park but didn't see any Redcoats today! Site of a key battle in the Revolutionary War.

50 miles, mostly in the bright sunshine. Warmer than recently, but still too windy. I don't remember all this wind in the summertime

Very windy out this afternoon but otherwise a beautiful Florida day. Got in a nice 35 mile, slower than normal ride with my buddy Frank. Too windy to push it so there was lots of conversing during the ride.

Absolutely miserable outside right now.

Did a half century on the trainer while catching up on a couple of movies I wanted to watch.

25 miles, again, this afternoon. Pretty gusty winds, from the north, but a really nice, pleasant day and ride.

Catching up for the weekend

Saturday 54.2 miles @ 15.9 rolling ave on the club ride
Sunday 29.9 miles @ 17.3 rolling ave on a solo ride

first day exercising in 10 days (flu and ear infection) and I felt rusty on Saturday. Better by the end of that ride, but still didnt want to push it on Sunday

At last—sunshine. I don't mind the cold if there's sunshine. 23mi Sat on the trike, double ride Sun (trike) 15mi, 10mi today on the Sirrus. Don't care so much about speed, just the exercise and thrill of riding. 12 mph is okay.

Yes!
I ride every day (almost ;o).
I no longer have a car.
I just, this day, named my every-day bike -- BK (Bike/Kar)
