You have to wear full-zip jerseys with bibs. That way, if you need to, ahem, actually pull down the shorts, you can take off the jersey (the prerequisite) without having to empty all the back pockets. I think this was the real reason they invented full zip jerseys. It wasn't so you could climb long Alpine passes on hot days looking like a pro with the jersey completely open and billowing in the breeze, although that too is a good reason to wear them. I now refuse to buy jerseys unless they are full zip. And I don't even like bib shorts, I prefer regular shorts. I don't need the suspenders unless I'm wearing long tights.

I agree Luis, The bad news is that I had all these partial-zip jerseys before bibs came along. Now I have four full-zip jerseys, but this is compared to 40 partial zip ones.

I'm 5' 9" and 160 lb. so I have shorts (Pearl Izume, Voler and Giordanna) that fit fine, and are wearable with partial-zip jerseys. That said, I really prefer my bibs (Giordanna, Hincapie, Santini and Pearl Izume) for centuries and double centuries. Much more comfortable over the long miles!
