About a week ago after battling a head wind for twelve miles , I stoped to consume copious amounts of water. It was about 85 degrees and the wind was very dry but not too strong. I usually don't drink water while riding , I prefer to stop and sometimes snap a picture. I didn't notice the beam of light when I took the picture. When I got home I was posting it to Strava and that's when I saw it.
1972 ItalVega, I love this bike!

That beam of light looks quite neat.

I remember reading years ago about a photographer who spent a lot of time composing a shot or two of a rainbow near a waterfall. He used a polarizing filter to darken the water. When he got the film developed he discovered to his dismay that the polarizing filter removed the rainbow too. Seems that your image was just the opposite effect. A very nice image.

Cheers

Peeps hanging out by the fire during my last weekend trip. It has turned cold here in the NE, but I have yet to stow the camping gear in the basement. Hoping for an anomaly that will allow me to get in one more trip.
