Bikes: Yes, probably too many but still have a roving eye...

And in the absence of a guerrilla knitting or yarn bombing thread, I think this place is as good as place as any to post these. While cycling around the suburbs of Dulwich this week I've come across a number of these knitted post box covers that someone has taken the time to do. I was a bit late but one if obviously to commemorate St Patrick's Day. Brought a smile to my face anyway.

I think I found a picture of my first bike. You won’t find a tire valve because the tires were solid……the roughest riding bike I’ve ridden but it was a start. Our neighborhood gang riding on Christmas Day 1957.

Ouch! Plus a side street just before the top! It’s not long but it would hurt.

my itty bitty granddaughter can sure ride her trek bike. had to get the trek because the cheaper ones are too hard to peddle.

even on my trek with a mid drive bosch motor me putting out over 450 watts can just make it up. I should have tried it when I had the 11-42 cassette on it instead if the 11-32. at least here in Oregon you can go through the stop sign without stopping if its safe.

lol ... Yea, I took it. Thanks!

My SO contracted COVID a couple of weeks ago, and I skedaddled to the vacation home to avoid catching it myself. I took that one (believe it or not, with my cellphone) after hiking around the lake. Beautiful spot!

Spring is here!

Yeah, that’s me. I was a big fan of Pallidan, Have Gun Will Travel and anything cowboy/Western. I probably got that outfit on Christmas Day as well.

dodging the cops. we were going though this parking lot to get to the road on thee other side we usually go through were the yellow is. bu there were two cars stopped and 5 cop cars with lights flashing. the black line with the arrow shows the direction. I ws going to turn and I see the cops so I go by and I see one guy handcuffed another guy getting out with empty hands and the cops with guns out but not pointing at him. but if they were we would been right behind the guy. I had to circle around them to get out and as we left a racing cop car passes us going to the scene. should have talked a pick but dont think my wife on back of the tandem would have been happy with me.
