I took these pictures on Wednesday afternoon during a very hilly century ride (~180 km, 2400 m of barometric elevation gain) with a friend along the west coast of Izu peninsula, Shizuoka prefecture, Japan.

This kid saw me coming down the road so he came out of his driveway and started doing wheelies.

I stopped to watch, took a few photos and texted them to him.

Breathtaking!

I looked at the photo several times and thought it was just a pot-shot of some coastline. Reading "view of Mt Fuji" in the caption however, led me to see what I had obviously missed.
