How many consecutive days do you ride without a break?
I try to go > 150 miles/wk., and typically go no more than three, but never more than four days straight without a rest day. Just seems to work best for me that way. I still average weekly around 170 miles, get plenty strong, and loose weight through the season.
How 'bout you guys?

It's really not the same as regular rides but as an every-day commuter plus weekends, it's been about 70 days consecutive riding.
edited, I forgot about a couple of days moving when I didn't ride, so it's been about 40 days.

It's a rare day I don't ride... but some rides are very short. I used to ride about 1200/1400 km a month (peak 2000+)up to a year ago, now I'm at about 800/1000km a month

6 days a week. Longer rides on 3 days, alternating with 12 mile round trip to the gym with core weight workout and swimming on the alternate days. Usually 120-150 miles a week.

I'm trying to build endurance and strength, so my rides are frequently pushing my limits of distance or intensity. As a consequence, I usually take two rest days a week, but whether that means no riding or a short and easy ride just depends on how I feel. So, no regular pattern but if I ride for 4 or 5 days straight, I'll usually take a day off.

I take a rest day while my legs recover. I am not a distance guy but do love fast 20's and 30's. though I've trained and ridden a century, the longest any given season is 50mi. Usually have 2 hill attacks each week along with a fast 30 or a 40.

I really need one or two rest days a week. Given that I get at least four days bike commuting, it means that two of my three weekend days are rest days.
If I don't take my rest days, I begin to drag during the next week, then by the following weekend, I'm pretty much inert.
It's been that way for years, so I just plan accordingly. I make the most out of my commutes during the week, and carefully choose my weekend rides.
This time of year, a typical week is 30 miles a day commuting (which isn't bad for a nine-mile round trip). Friday is almost always a rest day, although I will ride to the bank and the grocery store--a 5-mile loop which I don't really count. I do a 50-70 mile ride with the club on the weekend. If I do the Saturday club ride, I'll maybe do a shorter, lighter, recovery ride on Sunday. If I do the Sunday ride, then Saturday is usually another rest day.
It gets me 170-210 miles a week.

I only ride to work, so it is almost always 5 days in a row, 100 miles a week. We often spend weekends on an island where the only transportation is by bike, so that can mean 12 days in a row. On the other hand, we vacation on another island with no roads, so I wind up 14 days without riding.

I'm car-free, so the days I don't ride are the days I don't leave my apartment.

Hard ride and I don't ride the next day but I try not to use a car so all my local trips are done on the bike on a daily basis. Local trips are up to 10 miles and where I can get the purchases in my back pockets or the courier bag.

I am a firm believer in a Sabbath, so no more then 6 days in a row, there is no specific day that I will take off, it depends on what I am busy with that week. Often though I target for a lot less, sometimes with as few as 3 days a week. Right now I am on the Disabled List so, not riding at all, hoping the shoulder feels good enough that I can get back to it, in August, then I will start "training" with 3 days a week, and slowly build back up. In Winter mode which runs from (Canadian) Thanksgiving to May 24 weekend, I often use the trainer, and that's 4 days a week with shorter distances. In summer mode, I will slowly build distance until I get back to winter mode in the fall. This year got messed up, with Hernia surgery in April, moving in May, and then busting up the shoulder, and then moving again in the fall, it's going to be a mess this year.

Rest days are really dependent upon your training base and what you are used to. When you get long, hard miles in, an easy ten mile spin is a "rest" day. When you start out, that same ten miles can be a hard day and you might need at least a full day of nothing as the "rest"

I'm 68 and try to ride every other day. One of Joe Friel's rules in Cycling Past 50.

The most I ever did in a row without a rest day was 9 days. After a day of rest, I could tell that's not a pattern I should do. I used to do 5 to 6 days/week, but since I ride longer distances and several factors have interrupted riding, I usually do 4 to 5 days/week(sometimes even as low as 3). I don't like to do fewer than 4/week and generally only do 3 in a row.

Same for me as I am in Southern Arizona most of the year, with a few weeks in Summer at the cabin in Wyoming, usually only miss when traveling. At 63, as far as I can tell, a day off really does not show a benefit.

I should have mentioned that in my post above, too. I'm basically a homebody, so staying home on rest days is a benefit, not a problem. Although I will walk the four-tenths of a mile to the grocery store if need be, I try to get in serious couch time with a stack of novels. An ideal day is when I don't leave my apartment, let alone the building.

My designated days for serious riding are Tu, Th and Sat. A Sunday following a Sat. happens when a friend calls me and wants to work out the muscles from a hard Saturday ride. I have little interest in back to back on my own since the other days are supposed to be for walking/jogging and swimming for my upcoming Ironman. My grocery grabber is the almost every day ride because it saves on gasoline usage for the short jaunts.

If the weathers adequate I at least ride to the coffee shop which is 2-3/4 miles.
Right now I'm trying to ride at least 10 miles on my "recovery" days while doing 30-40 mile days. Working on my conditioning after "Intermedullary Nailing of the Tibia" last Oct.
Hope to do at least 50 before the end of the month. (50.2 would be a PR)
Delusions of riding my age (65) before the rainy season starts.
