I did something similar while unsuccessfully trying to jump a curb on a mtn bike. As I lay there prone on my face on the cement sidewalk, I was wondering if all my body parts would work. They did.

About 15 years ago I ran my old Peugeot UO-8 over one of those parking lot speed bumps, and since I was not paying attention to the road surface, it caught me by surprised and dumped me. A kindly passerby asked me if I was OK, and I replied that my pride was probably hurt more than anything else.
