Ford by Dahon?
I am looking to purchase an inexpensive folder for my teenage daughter. Right now it will be a to and from school, but in the future will be for around a college campus.
I know Dahon is a good brand and Amazon has models from "Ford by Dahon" that do not seem to have a lot of reviews, but those there are good. None of the folding bike pages seem to have reviews either.
I am looking at the Ford by Dahon Muon 7 Speed Folding Bike. for $350.
My other thought is the Dahon Vybe D7 Folding Bike Obsidian Rack and Fenders but prefer an adjustable handlebar.
$400 is really the top of my budget.
I'd appreciate any help or insight.
Thank you.

I ordered a Ford by Dahon 7 Speed folding bike a few months ago from Amazon. My review is posted there (Ford by Dahon C-Max). It's not worth the $$$ IMO. I sent it back and bought a Dahon Speed P8 instead (from BruceMetras). Great bike.

At your budget you should consider the Origami Crane 8. I am the owner of Origami, so my opinion is biased, but take a look.

For $400 consider a Dahon Speed Uno. If you don't need the gearing it's going to be a great bike for the $.

Also you can consider a Downtube Nova : Downtube Nova - Lightweight Folding Bicycle. The price is great and the manufacturer is also a regular here on Bikeforums. There's a whole thread on Downtube bikes where you can get more information also. Never have ridden one myself.
